Product Details

Serum 10 is an introductory antioxidant serum ideal for all skin types. Formulated with 10% L-Ascorbic Acid USP and no additional key ingredients to ensure a gentle, well-tolerated solution for those with sensitive skin or new to Vitamin C. It is a lightweight, oil-free formula that targets the first signs of aging including fine lines and uneven skin texture and tone.

  • Level 1 Fine Line & Wrinkle Smoothing
  • Level 1 Brightening & Hyperpigmentation Correction
  • Oil-free, alcohol-free, non-comedogenic & hypoallergenic

The pharmaceutical grade Vitamin C in this formula, L-Ascorbic Acid USP, is the purest, most potent, and bio-available form of Vitamin C available. Traditionally difficult to stabilize in formulations, this gold-standard ingredient is a cornerstone of Serum 10, made possible by our exclusive IntraDermal System (IDS)®. This proprietary delivery system protects the Vitamin C and enhances penetration into all skin layers, with 2x more Vitamin C retention in the skin overall and 4x more in the dermis, while resisting oxidation to maintain maximum potency and consistent, visible results.

How To Apply

For best results, apply Serum 10 twice daily to clean, dry skin.
If desired, you may apply your favorite Vivier eye cream before use.

Place 2 to 3 drops of Serum 10 in the palm of your hand and use fingertips to apply a thin layer to face, neck, chest, and back of hands as desired, once or twice daily.

Once Serum 10 is fully absorbed, finish your skincare routine:
AM: Apply other target products, moisturizer and sunscreen.
PM: Apply other target products and moisturizer.

To maximize product shelf life, store your serum in a cool, dark place and ensure the dropper cap is tightly sealed after each use.

“I have used other C10 serums and I would have to say this is by far my favourite. It has made the most visible difference and significance that I can see. I like how it appears oily but absorbs into the skin so well, and it has no weird or harsh order. Cannot stop using it!”

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bottle of Serum 10 last?

With twice daily use of 2-3 drops per application, a bottle will last approximately 3-4 months. For maximum efficacy, we recommend the product be used within 6 months after opening.
It is important to note that due to the high level of pure and potent L-Ascorbic Acid USP in the formula, it is normal for the formula to yellow over time due to air and light exposure. This natural color change does not substantially affect the product's efficacy. Should your serum turn an orange/deep amber, it is best to replace the product. To maximize product shelf life, store your serum at room temperature and ensure the dropper cap is tightly sealed after each use.

Can Serum 10 be used with retinol?

Yes, Serum 10 is suitable to use within the same daily skincare routine as retinol.

Historically, Vitamin C (which is acidic) and retinol (which performs best at a higher pH) were thought to require separation. However, with well-formulated products like Vivier’s, this is not always necessary - our Vitamin C serums and Retinol can be layered consecutively.

If you’re looking to optimize your retinol results or improve tolerability, you may choose one of the following approaches:
1. Wait at least 30 minutes after applying Serum 10 before applying your Retinol
2. Use Serum 10 in the morning and Retinol in the evening
3. Use Serum 10 and Retinol on alternating evenings

Please consult your skincare provider with any questions.

When & how should I apply Serum 10?

Serum 10 can be used both morning and night. For optimal results, apply twice daily as part of your skincare routine..
Although some prefer applying serums directly from the dropper, to prevent potential contamination, we recommend dispensing 2 to 3 drops of Serum 10 into your palm and using fingertips to apply a thin layer to face, neck, chest, and back of hands as desired. A general rule to follow when layering products is to apply them from thinnest to thickest texture.

What colour should Serum 10 be?

L-Ascorbic Acid USP (pure Vitamin C), the primary ingredient in Vivier’s Vitamin C serums, may gradually develop a light-yellow hue over time. This natural color change does not substantially affect the product's efficacy. Thanks to our propriety IDS delivery system which shields naturally unstable Vitamin C molecules from oxidation, our serums are known to maintain their clarity and efficacy longer than other Vitamin C serums on the market.
To further maximize the shelf life of your Serum 10 we recommend tightening the dropper securely after each use, storing your serum at room temperature, and using it within 6 months of opening to ensure optimal results. Should your serum turn an orange/deep amber, it is best to replace the product.

How long does it take to start seeing results?

Many of our customers see and feel an improvement in their skin in as little as one use, however, individual outcomes may vary. Given the natural skin cycle is approximately 28 days long, when used consistently and as directed, customers tend to see significant, noticeable results in as little as 4 weeks. We recommend taking before and after pictures to assist in tracking progress.

Is Serum 10 safe to use after professional procedures?

Yes, Serum 10 is suitable to use as soon as one day post non-ablative procedures. Always consult with a physician or provider for individualized post-procedure care.

Is it safe to use Serum 10 on sensitive skin?

Yes, Serum 10 is ideal for all skin types, including sensitive as it doesn't contain other active ingredients making it milder for sensitive skin.
Every skin is unique so while most people with sensitive skin will have no issue using Serum 10, some might. Please consult your skincare provider with any questions.
